Gwendolyn Renfroe Pritchett, 85, of Centre, passed away May 29th in the Cherokee County Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 31st at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Perry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pritchett is survived by her son, Mickey (Becky) Pritchett of Oxford, Al., daughter, Susan (Todd) Saldivar, of Marietta, Ga, brother, Preston (Brenda) Renfroe of Centre, Al., sisters Marlyn (Walter) Mathis of Marietta, Ga., Marge Coleman of Cedar Bluff, Al., Jean Campbell of Dallas, Ga., Rachel (Jerry) Pruett , Linda (Jimmy) Winkles all of Centre, Al., Grandchildren, Wes (Emily) Pritchett of Weaver, Al., Drew Pritchett of Villa Rica, Ga., Taylor and Katie Saldivar of Marietta, Ga., Great grandchildren, Aiden and Cohen Pritchett of Weaver, Al., several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Howard L Pritchett, parents , H.A. and Mae Renfroe and sister, Freida Renfroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. Byron Nelson and the staff of the Cherokee County Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care and support during Mrs. Pritchetts’ illness.
