Mrs. Gwendolyn Isham Roberts, age 95, passed away early Wednesday in Nashville. She was born August 10, 1920 in Emory Gap, TN to the late John F. and Effie Ola McDonald Isham. She retired after 38 years as a hairdresser, owning her own business in Capitol Towers and was a member of Chapel Ave. Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Fred Roberts; all ten of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews who adored her and her amazing spirit. There will be a private burial on Friday.
