Gwen Williams

Gwen Williams, age 64 of the Grayson Community, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born on May 1, 1960 in Haleyville, Alabama to RV and Bonnie Hendrix Williams. Gwen was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, working in his yard, and Alabama football. He loved Jesus and was a family man who loved his wife, children, and grandchildren. Gwen had a sarcastic sense of humor and always loved to laugh. Visitation will be on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison where the service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Brother Tim Box and Brother Tim Harris Officiating. The burial will be in Beulah Cemetery in Lawrence County. Pallbearers will be Larry Stewart, Dennis Naylor, Nick Barton, Bradley Willette, Lucas Crow, and Brad Crow. Gwen is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kelley Williams; daughter, LeAnn Barton; sons, Mark Williams, Bobby Williams; grandson, Kaden Barton; granddaughter, Kadie Barton; sister, Joann (Tom) Williams; brother-in-law, Dennis Naylor. He was preceded in death by his parents R.V. and Bonnie Williams; in laws, Bobby Naylor and Susan Naylor. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Nichols Funeral Home to help cover funeral expenses.
