A Memorial service for Guy Junior Porter, 94, will be Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No Visitation is scheduled.
Mr. Porter died on Monday, December 30, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 23, 1930, in Cullman County, to William Guy Porter and Ophelia Pruitt Porter.
He was employed as a Press Operator for Fruehauf, prior to his retirement.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Ruby Porter, Son- Freddie Porter, daughter- Nancy Porter Copeland, his parents, Brothers- Ray, Herman and Herschel Lee Porter and sisters- Mildred Leigeber and Dorothy Jean Porter.
Survivors include his Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hosptial.
