Guntersville Teen Dies In Single-Vehicle Accident

GUNTERSVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a teen near Guntersville:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, has claimed the life of a Guntersville teen.

The 17-year-old was fatally injured when the 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse that the teen was driving left the roadway, struck an utility pole and a fiber optic box.

The juvenile was not using a seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Warrenton Road near Bennett Drive, approximately three miles west of Guntersville, in Marshall County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
