Guess what’s rolling in to Tuscumbia?

TUSCUMBIA – The Quad-Cities Daily was out on Highway 72 Wednesday morning to catch a sight seldom seen anywhere. Motorists along the thoroughfare were amazed to see a Diesel locomotive rolling Eastbound down the highway!

Well sure, it wasn’t under it’s own power. the locomotive was being carried on a huge TVA transport vehicle, en-route to the Tuscumbia Train Station which is having it’s Grand Opening this Friday and Saturday.

We just thought that we would give our readers a small “teaser” photo or two. The full story of the transportation operation will come a bit later.
