Grover L. Tidwell, age 76 of Tuscumbia passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015. Visitation will be Sunday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Malcolm Tidwell officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery.
Mr. Tidwell was a native of Osceola, AR. He will be missed, he was a very special man, and there will never be another like him. He lived his life through many adventures during his younger years. He was a great friend to many, had a kind heart and would give anything he had. Grover was a loving caring brother who was so thankful for his loving sister Clementine and the best daddy anyone could ever ask for. He will be missed by many.
Survivors include his daughter; Kelly Tidwell Gutierrez (Jorge); brothers, Monroe Tidwell, Leon Tidwell (Pat), Joel Lee Tidwell (Connie), sisters; Clementine “Tina” Stodgell (Jack) Rita Montesi (Art) and Darlene Smith (Allan).
