Gregory Joseph Campe, 32, of Athens, passed away Wednesday. Born in Troy, IL, Mr. Campe graduated from Bob Jones High School and Auburn University, and was employed by Stoneridge Homes. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Dora Hayden Buckman.
Survivors include his wife, Lindsey Wright Campe; son, Jackson Thomas Campe; parents, Michael and Betty Jo Campe; parents-in-law, Paul and Lee Anna Wright; brother, Brian Campe and wife, Shannon; nephews, Riley Gunner and Cooper Campe; grandparents, Elmer and Colleen Campe, Sr., and John and Sara Thomas; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Monday, November 28 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Coy Hallmark officiating
