Grayson Jerome Scribner was born October 23, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN, a blessing to the union of his parents Mr. Glen Scribner and Mrs. Andrea Gail Warren Scribner. Grayson or as he was lovingly known as “Gray Gray” loved playing baseball for Dixie Youth in Waynesboro, TN and was always full of energy. He was always seen with a big smile on his face, loved being outside, especially on his scooter, riding the bus, and the lawn mower with his “Paw Paw”. Grayson wanted “Double Bubble” chewing gum whenever he went to the store. Grayson excelled in math which was his favorite subject and loved trips with his family to the beach. Grayson had a great sense of direction and with him around you never needed a map. At the end of the day he wanted to be surrounded in his bed with his stuffed husky dogs. To be in his presence was to know that you were loved. He deeply cared for everyone. Grayson Jerome Scribner passed from this life on September 28, 2026 making his stay on this earth some 6 years and 11 months.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents Glen and Andrea Scribner both of Smyrna, TN; brothers Tylen Rhett Scribner and Kyle Haslem; grandparents Joan Warren of Waynesboro, TN, Dale Scribner and Melessa Lynch of Lewisburg, TN and Sherry Talbot and husband Craig of Rushville, NE ; uncles Scott Scribner wife Jennifer, Brian Warren wife Ashlee of Wentzville, MO, Josh Warren wife Lindsay of Waynesboro, TN ; aunt Jesica Hebbring of Freemont, NE ; and a host of cousins family members and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather Paul Warren; and sister Aria Scribner
Visitation will be held Sunday October 18, 2026 beginning at 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm and again on Monday October 19, 2026 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm all at the Wayne County High school gym in Waynesboro, TN.
