Grady Morris Long, 71 of Harvest, passed away on Tuesday, June 20th, 2023, at Madison Hospital. Mr. Long was born on October 28th, 1951, in Athens, to W.C. and Maggie Green Long.
Mr. Long is survived by his daughter Sarah Long, of Harvest; brother Jerry long (Annette), of Athens; sisters Helen Joy King, of Athens, and Nancy Lovell, of Athens; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Linda Long; child Shelley Jean Long; brothers Marion “Gus” Long and Charles Long; and sister Jean Ellen Long.
Mr. Long was an avid Alabama Football fan. He also loved to be outdoors, especially fishing.
A memorial service for Mr. Long will be Sunday, June 25th, at 2:00pm at Sardis Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be prior to the service on Sunday from 12:00-2:00pm.
