Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Steven Screws officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Bennett is survived by a sister in law, Mary Ruth Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edith Bennett; brothers, Rudolf Earl Bennett and Dana Bennett; and sisters, Levona (Charles) Smith and Glenna (James) Machen.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Life Resources of Jackson County.
The family would like to thank Alacare Home Health/Hospice and give a special thanks to Katrina Adams and Lindsey Perry.
