Grady Donald – Obituary

Grady Donald, 92, died Friday, February 3, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born November 5, 1924 to Jeff Davis Donald and Effie Barber Donald. He was a United States Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army 100th infantry from 1944-1946. He fought on the front line of the Battle of The Bulge in World War II. He did his true love, raising cattle and farming, most all his life. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. He was a Baptist in belief.

Services will be at 3:00 p. m. Sunday, February 5, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Frank Panzrino officiating. Rickey Boyd will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Andrews Chapel cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Boyd (Rickey) of Ballardsville; one grandchild, Kyle Boyd of Atlanta, GA; one step-daughter, Linda Sims (Dewayne), and one step-son, Larry Sullivan (Patsy).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Burma Price Donald, who died in 1978; one brother, Truman Donald; two sisters, Elsie Leslie and Laverne Patterson; and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Fred Lee, Milton Schumpert, Tommy Schumpert, Bobby Irvin, and Bobby Christian.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
