Funeral for Gracie Mae Fergerson, 90, of Danville will be Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Steve Ledbetter officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fergerson, who died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, in Decatur, was born Dec. 11, 1925, to William Henry McDonald and Sarah Katherine McDonald. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fennel Fergerson; daughter and son-in-law, Freida (Johnny) Latham; son, Randall Fergerson; and great-grandchild, Ragan Latham.
Survivors include one daughter, Glenda (Billy) Henley; six grandchildren, Kevin (Amanda) Henley, Jason (Rachel) Henley, Jeremy (Jim) Latham, Kelley (Cory) Dutton, Kasey (Jeff) Summers and Jonathan (Brittany) Latham; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be great-grandchildren.
