Gracie King Profile Photo Gracie King, age 89, passed away peacefully in her home in Culleoka, Tennessee.

Born on January 25, 1937, in Elkmont, Alabama, Gracie was the daughter of the late William Street and Velmer Irene Street. She was a funny, precious, and easygoing woman whose kind heart and compassionate spirit made her a treasured friend to many. Her warm personality and gentle nature left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Gracie was known for her strong work ethic and took great pride in caring for her yard, where she found both joy and peace. She had a deep love for country music and enjoyed spending time square dancing with family and friends, creating countless cherished memories along the way.

She is lovingly survived by her son, Gary King; and her siblings, Patricia Rochelle, Helen Dale, Dorothy Thompson, and Charles Street.

Gracie is reunited with her beloved husband, Riley King; her son, Roger King; her parents, William and Velmer Irene Street; and five siblings who preceded her in death.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia, Tennessee. The family will receive friends at the cemetery for one hour prior to the service.

Gracie’s kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
