Funeral for Gracie Haynes, 86, of Athens will be Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at Parkway Funeral Home at 11 a.m. with Rev. Wayne Turner officiating. Burial will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be today Nov. 29, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Haynes, who died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, in Athens, was born on March 22, 1929, to Raymond Euel Roy and Anna Eleanore Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ursery Haynes; son, Donald Ursery Haynes; brother, Ottis Euel Roy; sisters, Mary Edith Smith, Clara Elenora Haynes, and Opal Aileen McCleskey; and grandchild, Christopher Mark Haynes.
Survivors include daughters, Anna Elaine (Dave) Baldwin and Kimberly Sue (David) Benderman; sisters, Debra Elaine Roy and Betty Joan Roy; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren, and was a mother and Mamaw to many, many, others.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Baldwin, Joshua Baldwin, Dylon Little, Dekota Little, Jason Haynes-Yarborough and J. Barry Hayes. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Baldwin and Doug Baldwin.
