Grace Robison Lambert – Obituary

graceMrs. 89, of Florence, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star Florence Chapter #5, and an Avon representative. She was raised in the Whitehead community and moved to the Weeden Heights community which she referred to as Weeden Town. Later she resided on Broadway Street and then moved to Estaline Drive where she had many friends. Granny liked coffee, yard sales, walking, birds, Old Time Country and Gospel music and visiting with friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

Granny was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Vaud Lambert; daughter, Peggy and her husband Frank M. Hennecy; brother, William C. Robison.

She is survived by her grandsons, Craig Lambert Hennecy; Bradley David Hennecy; great-grandchildren, Francis Grace Hennecy, Craig Lambert Hennecy, Jr.

Pallbearers will be J.D. Choat, Craig McMurtrey, Vernon Sartain, Ray Sartain, and Dave Garrett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Order of the Eastern Star.
