HUNTSVILLE-Governor Kay Ivey will be on hand as the Madison County Republican Party hosts the Rocket City Welcome at
Ditto Landing on Saturday, April 23, 2022. The free event will feature area and state elected officials and
candidates.
“There have been so many new people move into Madison County in the last several years. We wanted to
reach out to those voters before our Republican Primary so they would have the opportunity to meet the
elected officials and candidates before casting their ballot,” said Madison County GOP Chairman Steve
Schmidt.
“Our team has made this a real family friendly event, with entertainment for the kids, music, food trucks, and
even a car show,” he continued.
