Governor Ivey Issues Memo to Lower Flags in Tribute to Minneapolis Catholic School Shooting Victims

MONTGOMERY-In accordance with the Presidential proclamation, Governor Kay Ivey hereby authorizes flags be flown at half-staff on the grounds of the Alabama State Capitol Complex in Montgomery and throughout the state of Alabama until sunset on Sunday, August 31, 2025, in tribute to the victims of the tragic church school shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 27, 2025.
