ZIP CITY – Family night is going to happen this Saturday evening up near P&K Western Store on Highway 17 and County Road 8. And it’s all to benefit the great Zip city Volunteer Fire Department.

Zip City resident, Robert Walker told the Quad-Cities Daily, “This is going to be a Saturday night where families and people, young and old, can come out for a fun, safe night of music, food and friendship. Something like people used to be able to do back in the ’50’s and ’60’s. Good clean fun.”

Remember those fun games like horse shoes and corn hole? They’re going to be there.

And there’s going to be some great BBQ by Rawhide. They’re going to be at the big event serving from their food truck. On the menu is BBQ, burgers, hot dogs and french fries.

And to beat the Summer heat, Kona Ice will be on hand keeping everybody cool and happy.

Headliner Band will be the Butler Creek Boys with a great mix of Country and Rock music. There will also be local music and gospel to kick off the event. Gates open at 4 PM.

See you there!
