Gordon Wilson Hannah, 79, of New Hope passed away peacefully, Sunday, January 7, 2024.

Wilson worked at Dunlop Tire Co. for 35 years before retiring. He loved hunting, fishing and camping with family in the Smoky Mountains. He was a calm, kind man with a great sense of humor. He loved going for drives with his wife Linda. They loved going to Guntersville State Park to see the deer as often as they could. He was a great husband, dad, and granddad. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by father, Herman Odell Hannah; mother, Alma Gibbs Hannah; and brothers, Herman Hannah, Clifton Ray Hannah and Jimmy Hannah.

Surviving are wife, Linda Hannah; daughter, Teresa Furlough; son, Greg Hannah; grandson, Ryan Furlough; sister, Emma Lemley; six sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 3:00 PM with Shane Baker officiating.

Interment will be in Kennamer Cemetery.
