Mrs. Goldie Jewel Currie, age 84, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from Scottsboro Funeral Home with Bro. Butch Tanner and Bro. Mike Stenson officiating. Burial will follow at Fults Cemetery in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Currie is survived by her children; Dwight(Maria)Myers of Zephyr Hills, Fl, Barbara(Mike)Scott of Aspel, Al., Martha(Steve)Clarke of Scottsboro, Tommy Currie of New Hope, Dale(Rena)Currie of Scottsboro, Al., and Dwayne Currie of Sylvania, Al. Fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Luther B. Currie, son; Jerry Currie, granddaughter; Kristen Myers, parents; Ola and Thomas Green.
