Glyndon Drew Newman, 88, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
He will be lovingly remembered by his 2 daughters, Michelle (Curt) Byard of Hoschton, Georgia; and Melissa (Fred) Barhydt of Georgetown, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Christie (Allen) Finkenaur of Summerville, South Carolina; Katy (Zach) Morgan of Houston, Texas; Lindsay (Zach) Drummond of Bethlehem, Georgia; and Drew (Rachel) Barhydt of Miami, Florida; 4 great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Finkenaur, Hannah Rose Finkenaur, Sophia Marie Finkenaur and Raegan Jade Drummond; 2 Step-granddaughters, Stacy (Reid) Golden, Lisa (Cobus) Breytenbach; 5 Step-great-grandchildren, Maelyn Golden, Cale Golden, Clara Jane Golden, Olivia Breytenbach and Lawson Breytenbach.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel at 11:30 am with Pastor Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery.
