hankMr. Glyndol “Hank” Williams, age 74, passed away Friday at his home in Gurley. He graduated from Butler High School and was retired from Flowers Bread Company and Cedar Gap Grocery. Survivors are his loving wife of 53 years, Jo Lee Willams; daughter, Cherie (Bob) Moody; grandson, Robert (Maury) Moody; granddaughter, Michelle (Jonathan) Slater; great grandson, Michael Moody; brothers, Stanley (Peggy) Williams, Mark (Brenda) Williams, Bobby (Ann) Williams; sisters, Patsy (Jim) Johnson, Judie (Scott) Ratliff, nephews, Jason Williams, David Johnson and Zach Johnson; one niece, Emily Ratliff and some great nephews and great nieces. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his son, Mike Williams; parents, Tuck and Pauline Williams; brother, Billy Williams. Visitation will be Monday at Berryhill Funeral Home from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a chapel service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Pleas Mount Cemetery. Rev. Danny Gipson will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
