Notice for Mae  Richardson

Gloria Mae Richardson, 72, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Pontotoc Health and Rehab Facility. She was born April 14, 1953, in Itawamba County, to Ottis Hank and Velar Mae Tyra Justice. She lived in Verona for many years, where she was a member of First Baptist Church. She later moved to Mooreville. She was a cosmetologist in her earlier years. She then owned and operated, along with her husband, Richardson Outlets in Tupelo and Skyline. She worked at Olive Garden later in her life. She loved her family and had a huge heart for all animals.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. David Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Bobby Sean Richardson of Baton Rouge, La; one brother, Tommy Justice of Mooreville; one sister, Helen Wurslin of Pontotoc; one grandchild, Wright Atticus Richardson; three nieces, June Bishop of Pontotoc, Sonya Donald of Tupelo, and Brittney Walker of Pontotoc; one nephew, Kell Sheffield of Guntown; several great nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Glenn Richardson; one brother, Roy Justice; two sisters, Ruby Faye Sheffield and Peggy Justice; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Chris Edwards, Stephen Deaton, Bradley Deaton, Brock Bishop, Bill Donald, and Kell Sheffield.

Visitation will be Tuesday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
