Funeral service for Gloria Jean Kelsey, 73, will be Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Ammons and Bro. James Glover officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Her body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kelsey died on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born September 26, 1946, in Michigan to George Penoyer and Bernice Odelle Orlick Penoyer. She was an active member of the Falkville Senior Center and attended Pine Street Independant Baptist Church in Falkville for more than 20 years. She also attended the Living Word Church of Hartselle for 4+ years.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Terry Kelsey, her parents, her step-father: Ronald Hood, Sr., a grandson: Shane Kelsey and two great grandchildren: Carson Burm and Callie Spivey.
