Gloria Jean Erwin, age 70, of New Market, died on Wednesday October 22, 2014.
Mrs. Erwin is preceded in death by her father, Walker Cagle; her son, James Edward Erwin; and her great granddaughter, Laura Miller.
Mrs. Erwin is survived by her husband, David Erwin; her children, Susanne McElyea, Kathy Erwin, Joe David Erwin, and Donna Maxwell; her mother Lois Cagle Morgan; her sister Sandra Faye Scott; her grandchildren, Amanda, Bobbie, Stephanie and Matthew; and numerous other family members.
Funeral services will be on Sunday October 26th at 2 pm at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Fincher officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Erwin will lie in state at the church on Sunday from 1pm until 2pm. The family will receive friends on Saturday October 25th from 6pm until 8pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville.
