Gloria Faye Conkle, 74, of Fort Payne, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her home. She was born August 1, 1947 to the late Alvis and Imogene Watson Veal.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home with burial following in Tuckers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2 until 3 p.m. The family is accepting flowers or memorial contributions may be made to Southern Care Hospice.
She is survived by her husband Johnny Conkle; children Rebecca “Becky” Fugatt (Vann), Jeffrey W. Edmondson, and Sandy Goodwin (Jamey); grandchildren Kyle Fugatt (Alissa), Austin Goodwin, Madison Grimes (Preston), and Jefferson Connor Edmondson; and sisters Judy Knopps, Glenda Keef, Sandra Stewart, Kay Hatfield, and Sharon Sewell.
