Gloria Dean Davis Johnson, 81 of Albertville, formerly of Union Grove died Friday, March 27, 2015 in Marshall Medical Center South.
Mrs. Johnson was born August 6, 1933 in Lawrence County, Tennessee, the daughter of Sherman and Louella Burlison Davis. She was a graduate of Central High School, Columbus, Tennessee. She and her husband, Douglas A. Johnson were former residents of Union Grove. She was a salesperson for Old Gin Carpets, also a Homemaker and was of the Presbyterian faith.
She is survived by her husband: Douglas A. Johnson; four daughters and sons-in-law: Janet Fleming Marsh (Joe), Jo Casta Johnson Green, Aline Johnson Simpson (David) and Tammy Johnson; two sons and daughters-in-law: Joseph and Barbara Fleming and Scott and Sherry Fleming; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Chris Herbert, officiating. The family elected cremation, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel assisted with cremation arrangements and direction of the memorial service.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Lewis Cook, Glenn Green, Kenneth Green, Kevin Shaver and Neal Shaver.
Visitation with the family will be 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
