Gloria Ann Ayer Baker, age 86, of Decatur, passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 2:00PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM to 2:00PM prior to the service.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Alton Ayer and Geneva Annonson Ayer, husband, Roger Wayne Baker, and son, Steve Baker, siblings, Alton Ayer, Twyla Eldridge, Laveen Brown, Don Ayer.
She is survived by five daughters, Sandy Hubbard (Dave)(WA), Julie Reynolds (Roger)(AL), Barbie Braman (Tom)(MN), Linda Warren (Ron)(AL), Angie Brannan (Mike)(FL), 22 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
She was very artistic, loved music and art, and played the dulcimer.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was known for her sparkling eyes and smile
