Glennis Junita Williams, age 79 of Athens, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Williams was born March 18, 1939 in Limestone County to Roy Lee Adams, Sr. and Hattie Bell Crawford Adams.
Services for Mrs. Williams are Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Eddie Littrell officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of Sardis Springs Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, William B. Williams; daughters, Brenda Bennett, Patricia Campbell (Randy) and Wilma Asherbranner (Phillip); brother, Ted Adams; sister, Lois Adams; grandchildren, Bryan Campbell (Amanda), Ashley Clark (Greg), Chase Bennett and Marcus Campbell (Lulu); great grandchildren, Nikki, Casper, Story, Brynn, Shiloh, Madden, Ethan and Nora; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roy Adams, Jr. and James Edward Adams.
Pallbearers are Bryan Campbell, Marcus Campbell, Chase Bennett, David Adams, Justin Adams, and Christopher Sutton. Honorary Pallbearers are Greg Clark, Gene Gordon and Phillip Smith.
