Glenna Clint Tuggle , age 92, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, August 11, 2013. Her family will receive friends Wednesday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia, with her funeral service following in the funeral home chapel. Brother Ed White will officiate and burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Tuggle was a member of Valdosta Ch urch of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ora Barber; her husband, Melburn Dillard Tuggle; son, Larry Dillard Tuggle; brothers, John Barber and Howard Barber.
She is survived by her son, William Ray Tuggle and wife Mary Joyce of Muscle Shoals; daughter, Alice Catherine Farley and husband, Billy Ray of Cherokee; daughter-in-law, Mary Breland Tuggle, of Muscle Shoals; sister-in-law, Lila Barber of Sheffield; granddaughters, Amy Stratton (Jonathan), Lesley Jones (Jeremy); two great grandsons, Eli and Gavin Jones and many loved nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Kenny Bowling, Coy Wingo, Clarence Johnson, Wallace Handley, Mike Longcrier and Chuck Evans. Honorary pallbearer is Glen Enlow.
Mrs. Tuggle’s family expresses special thanks to Dr. Ronald McCoy and staff, Dr. Randall Little and staff, the nurses at Helen Keller Hospital and Amedisys Hospice for all their loving care. She held a special place in her heart for the “Domino Gang”. She loved each of your very much. The family also thanks Ed White for the special care he has provided.
