Glenna Ann Davis Johnson, 92, of Spring Hill passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Life Care Center in Columbia.

Glenna was born on October 2, 1925 to the late John B. Davis and Hattie Brown Davis in Maury County, Tennessee. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of New Lasea Church of Christ. Selfless woman, generous of mind and spirit, wonderful mother, and exceptional woman are just a few of the things that describe Glenna. She was famous for her cornbread dressing. Glenna was known to always take care of anyone and everyone.

Glenna’s family will visit with friends and family on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:30 at Williams Funeral Home in Columbia. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 with Kenny McFarlan officiating. Burial will follow at Jones Cemetery in Columbia.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Ballard, Tommy Vick, Jeffrey Oliver, Paul Zimmerman, John Davis, and Terry Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Mary Davidson, Mary Lou White, Elders and Deacons of New Lasea Church of Christ, Jack and Daisy White and the staff at Morning Pointe.

Glenna is survived by her daughters, Jean (JR) Anderson of Williamsport, Debbie (Larry) Vick of Spring Hill, Peggy Oliver of Culleoka, and Lisa (Tim) Thomas of Murfreesboro; Son in Law, David Ballard; Grandchildren, Paula Beard, Bryan (Dana) Ballard, Stephanie (Paul) Zimmerman, Jennifer (Chris) Beard, Tommy (Sara) Vick, Wendy Oliver, Jeffrey Oliver, Alyssa (Taylor) Brown, and Jonathan Thomas; 16 Great Grand Children; and 2 Brothers, Aubrey Davis and Massey (Doris) Davis. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas E. Johnson; Daughter, Nancy Ballard; and 7 Brothers/Sisters.

Memorial Donations may be made to Jones Cemetery Foundation in Glenna’s name.
