Glenn Ray Hall, age 96, passed away on May 20, 2025. A lifelong resident of Franklin County, Hall passed away in a Manchester nursing home facility from natural causes.
Long retired from working in beverage distribution and grocery store management, Hall enjoyed a peaceful life and spent most of his time outdoors and caring for his family.
Hall was born on Aug 26, 1928 to Pink and Theo Texas Hall in Belvidere. Siblings include Tip Hall, George Hall, Willard Hall, Guy Hall, Bart Hall, and Lou Miller. In 1948, he married the love of his life Lena Gertrude (Isbell) Hall. They were married for seventy years and lived in Belvidere and Winchester until her death in 2018.
Hall is survived by his only beloved daughter, Linda Dianne (Hall) Zimmerman, and grandchildren Jana (Winchester) and Del Ray (Nashville).
Hall’s service will be graveside at 12:00 pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Franklin Memorial Gardens.
