Mr. Glenn Leon Biddle, age 87, of the Union Chapel Community, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Biddle was born on April 8, 1931 in DeKalb County to Ralph Biddle & Pluma Clark Biddle. He enjoyed serving as a deacon and reading the bible. Mr. Biddle was a cattle farmer and a supervisor at GTE. He also enjoyed being able to go out and eat.
Mr. Biddle was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Betty Grace Biddle; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald S. Biddle & Vida; son-in-law, Steve Curtis; brother & sister-in-law, Elton C. Biddle & Regina; sister, Willodean Tilley; grandchildren, Melisa Stone & Mitch, Zachary Glenn Biddle & Melanie, Chris Hemphill & Brooke, Jenny Biddle Adams & Lloyd; honorary grandchild, Alayna Harwood; 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Glenda Biddle Curtis.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. Kevin Conell & Bro. Greg Narrell, officiating. Burial will be in Brookkwood Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Chris Hemphill, Zachary Biddle, Dakota Lovell, Caden Lovell, Brody Hemphill & Landon Stone.
Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
