Glenn Keeper White Jr. – Obituary

Glenn Keeper White Jr., age 84, of Florence, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016. His visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. His funeral service will be graveside at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens at 11:30 a.m. with military honors.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Romanger White; parents, Josie and Glenn Keeper White Sr.

He was a retired iron worker from Reynold’s Alloys. He was a U.S. Marine veteran having served in the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #11, Masonic Lodge #14 for over 50 years, and was a Shriner. He was an avid Alabama football fan.

He is survived by his daughters, Charlotte Myrick (Steve) and Nancy Baker (Joey); sister, Frances White; grandchildren, Steven Myrick (Kristy), Paul Myrick, Chase Cosby (Melany), Corey Cosby, and Courtney James (Brandon); and nine great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Pops caregiver and friend, Alisha Mitchell, and also the CCU unit at ECM Hospital, especially Grace, an angel sent from God, and Dr. Edsel Holden.
