Glenn Edward Barth, born July 7, 1936, at Arnettsville, West Virginia son of the late Walter Earl and Mary Elizabeth Paugh Barth, died Monday, Feb. 19, 2018.
Glenn served in the United States Navy. He was a member of York Terrace Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Glenn was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Grimes; son, Glenn Edward Jr.; infant daughter, Pamela; brothers, Robert, Norman, and Ronald; and sister, Geneva Farlow.
Survivors include a son, Michael, of St. Myers, Florida; brother, Dariel (Paula), of Wedgefield, South Carolina; sisters, Jeanette Williams, of West Liberty, West Virginia, Corliss (Bill) O’Rourke, of Brigantine, New Jersey, and Loretta (David) McDonald, of Wheeling, West Virginia; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family received friends for visitation on Tuesday, Feb. 20, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be today at 11 a.m. at York Terrace Baptist Church with Rodney Shewbart officiating. Mr. Barth will lie in repose for one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
