Funeral service for Glenda Vivian Davis Reaves, age 75, of Decatur, will be Sunday, June 26, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church with Pastor Taylor Todd officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. Interment and graveside service will be Monday, June 27, 2016, 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Jacksonville, AL.
Mrs. Reaves, who died Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at her residence, was born April 1, 1941, in Alabama, to Wallace Davis and Florence Jones Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and stepmother, Willene Davis. Mrs. Reaves was a loving and devoted mother who dedicated her life to caring for her family and extended family.
She is survived by her loving husband, James E. Reaves of Decatur; three daughters, Shannon Conway (Brendan) of Chattanooga, TN, Stacey Bennett (Ty) of Clinton, MS, and Amy Reaves of Brunswick, GA; and five grandchildren, J.P. Conway, Olivia Conway, Owen Conway, Kyle Bennett, and Will Bennett.
