Mrs. Glenda Sue “Susie” Owens, age 78 of delta, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Diversicare of Oxford. A Memorial will be planned for a later date.
Mrs. Owens was a lifelong resident of Clay County. She worked in Construction working on houses, as well as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor. She enjoyed the outdoors, and enjoyed spending time doing yard work, going fishing, and grilling out with her friends and family. Mrs. Owens was the youngest child of 14 brothers and sisters, and in her later years, loved spending with time with her family.
Mrs. Owens is survived by one sister, Verdie Nelson of Delta; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Otis and Stella Davidson Salers; and 13 brothers and sisters.
Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville is in charge of arrangements.
