Glenda G. Rhodes, 72 of Warrior, passed away Aug. 17, 26 at her home. She was a member of Argo Church of God. One of the great joys in her life was traveling with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Rhodes; daughter, Wendy Brooks; parents, Roscoe and Josephine Payne; brother, Dennis Payne; father and mother-in-law, Harold and Helen Rhodes; brothers-in-law, Billy Rhodes and Timothy Rhodes, and sister-in-law, Judy Strickland.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years of love and devotion, Jerry Rhodes; grandchildren, Cody Rhodes, Clay Rhodes and Landon White; great grandchildren, Alex Rhodes, Scarlett Rhodes and Nyla White; sister, Jenny Butler; brothers, Benny Payne (Bonnie), and Rodney Payne (Becca); brothers-in-law, Charles, Ricky and Teddy Rhodes; sister-in-law, Tammie Wollenzen; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday Aug. 22, 26 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. David Esco will officiate. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery. Visitation is from 10-11 am.
