Glenda Diane McKissack Reeves, 68, died on Friday, March 2, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born October 22, 1949 to Trainey Bowen and Lucille Putt Bowen in Mississippi. She married Bobby McKissack in 1967, they were married 35 years before his passing in 2002. On June 3, 2016, Diane married Wayne Reeves, Sr. Diane was a very strong and happy women. She cherished her children and adored her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Reeves, Sr. of Pontotoc; five children, Renae Hazel and her husband, Billy of Pontotoc, Sonya Witcher of Pontotoc, Kristi McKissack of Tremont, Jennifer McGuirk and her husband, Jed of Shreveport, Louisiana and Earl Reeves, Jr. and his wife, Nicki of Pontotoc; grandchildren, Alex Witcher of Carthage, Emily Witcher of Tupelo, Ashley Hutcheson and her husband, Lane of Mantachie, Hailey Greenwell of Tremont, Dillon Hazel of Pontotoc, Naomi McGuirk, Mack McGuirk and Elliot McGuirk all of Shreveport, Louisiana; great- grandchildren, Leah Witcher, Lindsey Witcher, Eian Witcher, Brooklyn Witcher, Brayden Greenwell, Annabella Greenwell and Isaiah Hutcheson and one sister, Peggy Reeves and her husband, Donnie of Pontotoc.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby McKissack; brother, Don Bowen; sister, Joyce Ferguson.
Visitation will be 4 until 8 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Brad Reeves officiating. Burial will be at Lee Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Billy Hazel, Dillon Young, Andy Kimery, Earl Reeves, Jr., D. Virder and Robert Baldwyn.
Honorary pallbearers will be Alex Witcher, Dillon Hazel and Jed McGuirk.
