With the same courage and dignity that he lived his life, Glen E. Miller passed way on Sunday, August 29, 2020, at his home. His earthly life of 84 years began on September 9, 1935, in Nederland, TX. His life was characterized by a strong dedication to the Lord, his family, friends, and other loved ones.

Glen served our country for over 30 years before retiring from the Air Force. After retiring, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the art of cooking. Glen was an avid cook and credited his mother with helping teach him the art of cooking.

Glen and his wife, Reba, were members of the Guntersville First United Methodist Church. He was very active in his church with helping others and being a faithful servant. He was active in the Kairos Prison Ministry, the Emmaus Walks, Cedar Lodge Rehab, and Meals on Wheels. He always enjoyed and looked forward to Thanksgiving and feeding the homeless and homebound.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Otis Miller and Ollie Mae Hartman; daughter, Glenda M. Sandlin; son-in-law, Anthony Sandlin; and brother, Larry Miller
