Glen Edward Helton, 77, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Mr. Helton retired from the Huntsville Fire Department after 34 years of service, he owned and operated G & J Contractor. Mr. Helton was preceded in death by a son Daryle Helton, former wife Louella Helton and brothers James and Charles Helton. He is survived by his wife Jean Helton; children Debbie Moore (Danny) and Gary Helton; sisters, Anita Morgan, Savannah Anderson, Helen Shores and Linda Ethridge; brothers Billy Lamb, Tommy Lamb and Terry Lamb; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral will be Friday, June 6, 2014 12:00pm at Berryhill Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Valhalla Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
