Glen Dale Riggs, 87 of Ardmore, TN, died Thursday May 20, 2021 at his home.
He was born on January 23, 1934 in Antlers, Oklahoma to the late Albert and Bonnie Mae Neal Riggs. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served on the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Valley Forge, in the Korean War. He moved to Huntsville, AL in 1959 and in 1995 moved to the Dellrose community where he became a member of the Wheelerton Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Betty Junior Riggs.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Riggs, of Huntsville, AL; grandson, Wade (Brittney) Riggs, of Ardmore, AL; and 3 great grandchildren, Bayleigh, Gracie and Bellamy Riggs.
Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2021 from 12 noon to 2 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be Monday 24, 2021 at 2 PM at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, with Bro. Paul Mason officiating. Burial will follow at 4 PM in Valhalla Memory Gardens in Huntsville, AL.
