Glen Clifton, 62, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at Baptist Desoto Hospiatl . He was born November 27, 1952 to the late Raymond Clifton and Doris Jones Clifton in Itawamba County. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, coaching basketball, spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was known as being a great philosopher and debater. He was community advocate where he was always interested in helping the children of the community. He was dearly loved by his family. He spent 21 years in the U.S. Army retiring with numerous medals awarded to him.
Survivors include his wife, Sina Clifton of Olive Branch, Mother, Doris Clifton of Fulton, Son, Glen (Tonya) Clifton, Jr. of Houston, TX, Daughter, Angela Clifton (Allen) Stewart of Atlanta, GA, Son, Gerome (Keyonia) Clifton of Atlanta, Son, Raymond Clifton, II of Olive Branch, 11 Grandchildren, Brother, Quentin Clifton of Fulton, four Sisters, Gwendolyn Greenlee of Mooreville, Pamela Ashby of Chicago, IL, Tonia Clifton of Fulton, Tasha Brown of Olive Branch, Several Nieces and Nephews, and a host of friends, aunts, & a uncle.
