Gladys Marie Brock Bivens Springer, age 85, of Leoma, Tennessee affectionately known as “Snooki” to her family and friends, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. She was born on September 30, 1939, in Pendleton, Kentucky.
Gladys was a proud member of the Ethridge Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #257 and a faithful member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church. She retired as Office Manager from A to Z Trucking, and was also a devoted homemaker. Known for her loving heart and generosity, she found great joy in caring for her family, friends, and animals.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Reita Colbert Tumbleson; her father, Ben Brock; and her son, Barry “Bear” Bivens.
Gladys is survived by her brother, Rondall Brock; two sons, James Dale Bivens of Jackson, TN, and Jeffery Bivens of Nashville, TN; several grandchildren; a niece and nephews.
Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering care for others will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Friday, August 15, 2025, with John Horne officiating with an Eastern Star service to follow.
