Gladys Marie Bishop Morrow, age 80, of Florence, died at her home Aug. 6, 2014, following an extended illness. She was born in North Carolina and a long- time resident of Florence. She was a member of the Oakland Church of Christ and a homemaker.
Visitation will begin at 12 noon on Monday at Greenview Funeral Home, followed by the graveside service at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park, Tim Grigsby officiating. Pallbearers will be Cale Morrow, Channing Morrow, Matt Hovater, Grayson McGuire, Billy Carl Morrow and Tim Morrow. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Rhodes, Larry Brown and Rich Griggs.
Preceding her in death were her two sons, Jeffery Dale Morrow and Bryan Edward Morrow.
She is survived by her husband, Charles (Jack) Morrow; son, Larry Millard Morrow (Pam); daughter, Christy Morrow Biggers (Walker); grandchildren, Tiffany, Cale, Channing, Carley, Bryan, Jr., Cory, Caitlin, Grace-Ann, Landen, Zachery and Tyson; great-grandchildren, Case Andrew Morrow and Hailey Melton.
The family would like to thank the following for their excellent care of Mrs. Morrow during her illness: Dr. Lyman Mitchell, Pam Hill, CRNP, and Hospice of the Tennessee Valley, especially Shelly and Tonya.
