Gladys Louise Mendell, age 89, of Huntsville, died on Thursday July 2, 2015.
Mrs. Mendell is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Mason and Artie Lou Johnson Pack; her daughter, Connie Laster; her sister, Beatrice Jarrett; and her brother, Wilbert Pack. She was a member of Murphy Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mendell is survived by her grandsons, Rick Keith Laster of Huntsville and Michael Scott Laster.
Funeral services will be on Thursday July 9, 2015 at 12 pm in the chapel of Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville with burial following in the Athens City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on that day from 11am to 12pm at the funeral home.
