Gladys Jones Howard, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Gladys was born in Islandton, SC to Nathan Jones and Nita Walling. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and three brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Willie W. Howard; son, Mike Howard (Jan); daughters, Angie McKenzie (Tom) and Diane Howard (Dean); five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Howard worked on Redstone Arsenal for 30 years before retiring in September of 1981.
She loved her family, antiques, and listening to Gospel music.
There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
