Funeral Services for Mrs. Gladys Gaither Campbell, age 92 of Lineville, will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home of Ashland with Bro. Tracy Chandler officiating. Burial will follow at Clay County Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Campbell passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 in Ashland. A longtime resident of Clay County, Ms. Gladys was a graduate of Birmingham Business College. She worked as a sales clerk for Sears and later retired from the Anniston Army Depot. She loved caring for her family, gardening, cooking and canning.
She is survived by her son, Scott and Annette Campbell of Lineville; grandson, Nathan and Erika Campbell of Pensacola, FL; brother, Willoughby and Karen Gaither of Lineville; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Campbell; parents, Andrew and Essie “Ted” Gaither and sister, Jewel Farr.
Her family will serve as active pallbearers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland from 5:30 until 8:00 P.M.
