Gladys Franks went to her heavenly home on February 21, 2015, at the age of 87. She was born in San Antonio, TX and moved to Mantachie at the age of 5. She was a retired garment worker at Mantachie Manufacturing. She was a faithful member of Fawn Grove Freewill Baptist Church, and she enjoyed her fellowship time with the other seniors. Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Fawn Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Mantachie with Bro. J.V. Mills and Bro. Terry Booker officiating. Burial will be in the Fawn Grove cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Mantachie is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her children, C.W. And Cheri Franks of Mantachie, and Sharon and Wesley Fiveash of Collierville,TN; She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christy and Paul Warren, Anthony and Jamie Franks, John Fiveash, Denton Fiveash; and five great grandchildren, Jackson, Madelynne, Hunter, Landon, and Levi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Franks; her granddaughter, Mary Beth Fiveash; her parents, C.B. And Delphia Camp; her brothers, Herman Camp and Charles Edward Camp; and her in-laws, Marvin and Vivie Mae Franks.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Franks, John Fiveash, Denton Fiveash, Paul Warren, Perry Franks, Mark Tigner, Andy Spradling, and Russell Burcham.
Honorary pallbearers will be Camellia Hospice Care Workers and Senior Citizens of Fawn Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5:00p .m. – 8:00 p. m. Monday at McNeece – Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie and from 10:00 a. m. until service time Tuesday at Fawn Grove Freewill Baptist Church.
